Took the floor pan around the back of my house and hit it with the water hose, some detergent, and a brush. I don’t know how much grime will come off…but, I gotta give it a shot. Okay, good…after the washing, now I’m just left with the surface rust. Next, I used my wire wheel on the remaining rust areas. Alright, got all that surface rust removed. Now to install the pan! After I installed the floor pan, I sprayed a little bit of lubricant on all the pan bolts, don’t know if that will prevent the rust from coming back so quickly but, it might slow it some…we’ll see.
