Came out of the house this mornng and found some parts in front of my garage. Woot! A fellow that was passing by my house on Wednesday stopped by and told me that he had some spare parts left over from his buggy build. He asked me if I wanted them and I said yeah. So, he was nice enough to drop them by today. That was very generous of him. Thanks Kevin!
Three rib bus transmission (top) and a standard beetle transmission (bottom). I’ll put the standard beetle transmission into my sandrail build because I’m not planning on taking it off road. And, secondly, if I were to use the bus transmission I would have to have beefier rear trailing arms (something I can’t afford right now). I’ll keep the bus transmission for my baja bug build. Got a new (used) carb too.
