Day 14 – Oops, I Forgot to Clean Up the Bottom of the Front Beam, More Painting
Today, it occurred to me that I never did clean up all the gunk that had built up over time on the bottom of the front beam. Until I do that, I can’t paint it. So, that’s what I did next…wire brushed the bottom of the front beam, then hit it with primer and some yellow. While I was waiting for the yellow paint to dry on the front beam, I painted the torsion swing plates and tie rods. Then after I finished up those guys, I came back and painted the front beam with orange and red. Here’s some pics.
