Here I took a photo before I began cutting, after I cut the passenger side shock mount and that little rubber bump stop, next onto the driverside, finishing with a photo of how the rear of the buggy looks now.

Day 36 – Cutting Off the Rear Shock Mounts
Okay, so today I think I’m going to go ahead and cut off the old shock absorber mounts on the rear trailing arms. I don’t have to do this…I could just as easily leave them be. The set up I have in mind, includes welding new mounts and installing the shocks directly to them.
